military shoulder boards?
a shoulder board is a black sleeve you wear over your shoulder strap that has your rank insignia stitched into it usually officers wear these…if any of you know where i can specially make my own shoulder board for AFJROTC please help me.. i was recently promoted to cadet chief master sergeant and the shoulder boards for me are just an officers shoulder board with a CMSgt rank pinned on it…i would like to make an actual shoulder board for me and the C/CMSgts that follow behind me..
please help me if you know a website where i can make and order my own..
In AFJROTC, only cadet officers wear shoulder boards. Cadet enlisted have to wear the metal ranks on the collars. I say, don’t try. Just wear your collar ranks like everybody else. If you really want shoulder tabs, try a bit harder to make it to the magical C/2LT. From what it sounds like, as a C/CMS, you’re almost there. Just push that little extra bit.
And just fyi, c/ enlisted with shoulder tabs just look pretentious. And a bit retarded. Wear your collared ranks.
