why do military people, mostly spec ops, wear their watches backwards?
This was an answer on a forum about what kind of watches kept time well.
Learn to wear the watch backwards if you’re in the military and are probably going to end up in combat. This allows you to see it when you’re holding your weapon at the ready, allows you to see it with less arm movement (your inside wrist faces you more than your outside) and it also keeps the moon and other things from reflecting off of the face at night. If the back light was inadvertently triggered others would be less likely to see the light, especially in a blinding NVG environment!
