looking at using military rucksack and gear for a backpacking tripe?

what gear and uniform pieces should be packed? like if you where dropped off in the middle of the canadian north in fall, and you where to hike out on your own, what would you pack in your rucksack and web gear (as if you where to use the old alice rucksack and web gear)? i know civi pattern gear is better and light but i am looking at strictly using military uniforms and gear and only when need be, use civilian gear but no civi clothing. can anyone help?
